Enel starts planned Jaslovske Bohunice nuclear plant unit 4 shutdown

BRATISLAVA : Italian utility Enel ‘s Slovak unit Slovenske Elektrarne (SE) started on Wednesday a planned shutdown of unit 4 at its Jaslovske Bohunice nuclear power plant for maintenance and fuel exchange, SE said. The power company said the regular shutdown of the 505-megawatt unit would be followed by a shutdown of the plants’ unit 3 before the end of the first half of this year. It said regular shutdowns take about three weeks. SE said it would shut down unit 2 at its other nuclear plant, Mochovce, for refuelling in the fall of 2019.
